Mijn verhaal

Als veelzijdig kunstenaar bewandel ik de weg van de schoonheid vertaald in schilderijen, keramiek, grafiek, poëzie ….  gedichten zijn de taal van de ziel …

In mijn werken toon ik harmonie, sereniteit, helderheid in kleur en vorm dit zijn de belangrijkste aspecten. Keramiek en schilderijen zijn duidelijk geïnspireerd door de natuur en door de Japanse vormgeving. Ik streef naar de schoonheid van de imperfectie, het onvolmaakte en het tijdelijke. Elk keramisch sculptuur is als een kleine gesloten wereld, die de energie van ingetogenheid in zich draagt.

 

De glazurenstel ik zelf samen met natuurlijke materialen. Er zijn ook de speelse lijnen van de japanse raku en haiku .Uiteraard mag hier en daar ook de onvermijdelijke tak of bamboestengel niet ontbreken. Naast unieke chawan theekoppen en theepotten maak ik ook ikebana steengoed en andere keramische sculpturen. Hun schoonheid schuilt in het kleine, subtiele dingen. Deze werken schreeuwen niet om aandacht, maar wachten geduldig om ontdekt te worden.

My Story

As a versatile artist, I walk the path of beauty translated into paintings, ceramics, graphics, poetry... poems are the language of the soul... In my works, I show harmony, serenity, clarity in color and form, these are the most important aspects. Ceramics and paintings are clearly inspired by nature and Japanese design. I strive for the beauty of the imperfection, the imperfect and the temporary. Each ceramic sculpture is like a small closed world that contains the energy of modesty. I assemble the glazes myself using natural materials. There are also the playful lines of Japanese raku and haiku. Ofcourse, the inevitable branch or bamboo stem should not be missed here and there. In addition to unique chawan tea cups and teapots, I also make ikebana stoneware and other ceramic sculptures. Their beauty lies in the small, subtle things.
